2nd Rotterdam Architectural Biennale

i love it when a plan comes together.

i finished my residency with the LMCC

2days later i was in joburg listening

to artist Stephen Hobbes give me a breakdown

on the culture/commerce/multiplicity of durban…

i drafted this sketch, we compiled a digital collage

of text and photos and 5days later we were

installing in Rotterdam….

i felt like fuckin Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction:

here is a quick review of the work:

On a simpler, more visceral level, both Al Caribe , curated by Supersudaca, a Dutch-Latin American think tank for architecture and urban research, and Liquid Durban, curatedby Dr. Lindsay Bremmer managed to stun visitors with one massive graphic each.

something international, quick, and compelling….
