THESIS [Visual Studies]

this is where it all begins. they say [me and amanda] that your thesis is what you will do over and over again for the rest of your life. i believe it. my architectural thesis done in May 2000 at Cornell University has everything i am pre-occupied with now: narrative, visual representation, creative process, re-appropriation of myth, religion, technology and culture.etc.etc…

my thesis final drawings [you can view at vigilism.com] are also what landed me a residency with the lower manhattan cultural council. the lower manhattan cultural council is what projected me into the world of art with subsequent exhibits at Studio Museum in Harlem, The Drawing Center, The Kitchen, The Soap Factory…and on.

anyway, it began here with my fascination for the relevant potential for computer-based methodologies in the field of design and blah blaaaah..haha

ahem.

these more abstracted scenes below are images i may revisit sometime soon. i really like the composition of them.
